I was developing a character for an illustrated short story I'm finishing putting together. I was also experimenting drawing on black paper. I never actually planed on this being a completed drawing but I was having fun with it and drew a little more then a little more. Then shoved it in a book for a year and forgot about it. This is a bit better shot of an earlier post. I am currently working on a much larger and more refined and detailed version of her right now.
This is outstanding, she looks almost real, probably a good job she isn't, then I wouldn't have to meet her walking down the street and get my heart broken... heh.
Thank you. And if you met her while walking down her street, she would most likely tear your heart out. It's not her fault, she has no choice, it's what she was made for. From a short story I'm just finishing up."The Task". I am currently working on a much larger full body detailed version of her right now and should post in 2 to 4 weeks.
Thanks, This is the concept pic for the character in the line drawing you commented on on FA. You were absolutely right, The legs were terrible. I've done quite a bit of reworking and re positioning of them and I should have construction lines down and ready to color this week. This is a scene that takes place in a cavern just inside a cliff face and small openings are cut to let in light. Background and foreground will be predominantly dark with reflections from water within and a slight blue glow from the magic spring.May try the first pic with black paper. I plan on 3 scenes with her.
