Iris by teiirka Iris by teiirka
Beautiful Bengal babe bashfully brandishing breathtakingly bountiful bare breasts. :)

8.5" x 11.5" color pencil mostly with a little Copic marker.

Finished this piece weeks ago but forgot to post here. I will hopefully get a couple more things done for AC.

Once I've cleaned my plate of some overdue projects I am thinking of opening for a limited amount of commissions. The first to be offered will be busts similar to this one if anyone is interested.

This will be for sale in the AC art show.

critique always welcome!

I wish I could draw like that. I'm thirteen and everyone says i'm good at drawing. The drawing is totally awesome! P.S. nice description :D

Thank you! I did not start drawing, at least more seriously, till I was 14. But when I draw I try to do it to the best of my ability at the time and try to learn and improve for the next one. I'm still learning new things and improving with each drawing. If you really enjoy drawing, go at it with all you got and don't stop with "just good enough."!
So many artists seem to do just that, reach a certain lever then try no harder.

Ahh, if it wasn't for my current financial instability I would buy your art in a heartbeat to display proudly.

There is something so enchanting and earthly about a tigress character with ginger-red hair, I have to say. The rich magenta and plum tones from the flowers add an extra touch to this portrait (what sort of flowers are those, by the way? They look extremely familiar but I can't quite recall their names right now...). You are a maestro with colored pencils, in all of your pieces. Please, keep it up!

Iris. XD

She doesn't have a name, I was was going to several of these, male and female, featuring different flowers and named after them.

Actually. I think the anthros look more natural without human hair but it is more popular so I do some that way....Aaaannd I LOVE drawing hair. And I have a thing for redheads. :)

I generally prefer drawing them without hair too unless I can find a way to seamlessly "mesh" hair with the rest of the character.

As for an answer regarding flowers? I adore plants and gardening, so that's a tough choice. Naturally I like a lot of the showy garden varieties such as day lilies, rose of sharon, etc. but if anything, I'd rather go with climbing flowers such as climbing roses, honeysuckle or clematis, or wildflowers such as bluebells, heather or bachelor buttons. My choice would probably be influenced by whatever subject would be featured.

Oh, my mistake; I originally was going to edit my post beforehand when I realized they look the same sort of cultivar iris that we have on our property. It's funny because dA doesn't always load completely for me, and it had omitted the title when I had the page up. I came to this realization before I noticed the title after it fully loaded; I'm not a dunderhead, really!
